Induction Programme

A one-day Induction Programme for new or recently appointed School Business Managers and Bursars.  

Course Description
The programme will -   

• help you understand the full requirements of your role, the school education system and the role of governing bodies
• clarify training and development routes available for your ongoing professional development
• help you understand the requirements of the FMSIS and other data information systems and requirements
• help you understand the latest and future school initiatives affecting your role
• enable you to access relevant information for networking, essential websites, regional groups, etc.
   

Entry Requirements
There are no barriers to entry, although the course is more suited to those in Local Authority Schools.  The Induction programme is available to members and non-members of NASBM.
